At 9 a.m. on March 4, the Polar Plunge will be hosted at the mobile pool outside in the parking lot of Spring Lake Middle School (transportation to/from SLHS to SLMS provided).
The Polar Plunge benefits Special Olympics athletes. The money raised goes directly towards Unified Champion Schools in Michigan. This helps to grow unified programming in schools across the state.
Using the registration link, you can sign up and create your fundraising page. You then can encourage your friends and family to donate. There are incentives provided to plungers raising: $10, $50, $150, $300, $500+.
Registration will end on March 2nd, at 5:00 pm.
Each grade will be competing against each other. Have a sports team or club that wants to join together as a team? Go for it and compete against everyone! The team that raises the most money will get to pick the outfits for Mr. Bush and Mr. Armey to wear during their plunge!
