Many sports kick off this week, including girls tennis, lacrosse, girls softball, boys golf, girls soccer, bys baseball, and track and field. Much anticipated, some teams had their first match on Wednesday, March 20, including JV girls lacrosse, with a score of 15-0.
On Thursday, March 21, girls JV soccer played a nail-biting 0-1 loss against Rockford, an unfortunate start to the season.
On Saturday, March 23, boys lacrosse had an unfortunate loss, 6-7 , in sudden death against Catholic Central High School.
Girls varsity lacrosse opens its season tonight at 7 p.m. against Rockford at Spring Lake High School.
